Lexus LX starting issue

Hey guys, I'm having a weird issue with my 2018 Lexus LX diesel. It's got about 228000 km on it. Lately, it's been struggling to start, sometimes stalls at idle, and the check engine light is on. It's also running rough and seems to be burning more fuel than usual. I scanned it and there's an error code stored. Any ideas?

I had similar symptoms on my LX. Have you checked the fuel pump's cable and plug connection? Those are prone to issues and can cause all sorts of problems with gasoline delivery.

Interesting. I haven't checked that specifically. Where exactly is the fuel pump located and is it easy to access the cable and plug? I'm not a total newbie, but I'm no pro either.

The fuel pump is typically near the fuel tank. While you can try to access the cable and plug yourself, given the symptoms and error code, I'd strongly recommend taking it to a qualified workshop. A defective cable or plug can easily be misdiagnosed or further damaged without the right tools and knowledge.

Thanks for the advice! Turns out you were right. Took it to the shop and it was a defective plug connection on the fuel pump. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the help!
