Lexus LX System Readiness Incomplete After OBD2 Use
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Lexus LX experienced an incomplete system readiness check and a speedometer error after using an OBD2 diagnostics tool. This issue may be linked to the I/M monitors not being ready, possibly due to a minor OBD readiness hiccup. The problem resolved itself after a few days of driving, with the system readiness check completing and the error message disappearing without requiring repairs. It is suggested to monitor the situation and consult a workshop if the issue persists.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thank you for your response. I have not checked the I/M monitors specifically. Could you elaborate on how you addressed this issue, and whether it is linked to the onboard diagnostics?

In my case, the monitors eventually reset after driving for a few days, but I recommend consulting a workshop. It could be a minor hiccup due to the OBD readiness, or there could be an underlying problem.

Thank you, I appreciate your input. It seems the issue has indeed resolved itself after a few days of driving. The system readiness check is now complete, and the error message is gone. No repair cost was needed. I will keep an eye on it.

I have a similar Lexus LX, and I experienced something similar after using an OBD2 scanner. Have you checked the I/M monitors to see which ones are not ready? This happened when performing car diagnostics. The check engine light was on.
