Lexus LX wiper malfunction

My 2015 Lexus LX with a gasoline engine has a complete windshield wiper malfunction. I've checked the fuse box and relay, but the wipers are dead. There's now a fault code related to the wiper system. I suspect a defective cable or plug, but the wiring harness is hard to trace. Has anyone else had wiper issues, maybe involving the cruise control stalk or wiper blade assembly?

I had a similar issue with my LX. Sounds familiar. Did you check the wiring harness where it connects to the wiper motor? Sometimes those connections corrode or come loose. The cruise control stalk is nearby and may have similar issues.

Was your issue intermittent or a complete failure? Was the error code specific to the wiper motor, or did it implicate other modules?

Mine was a complete failure, not intermittent. I didn't dive too deep into the error codes. I was late for an appointment, so I took it to a workshop. They sorted it out quickly.

I'll check the wiring harness connection. If that doesn't work, I'll take it to a mechanic and prepare for a 95€ bill. Thanks!
