Lexus NX Camshaft Sensor Issue

I'm having a weird issue with my 2022 Lexus NX gasoline. It's got about 31871 km on it. Lately, it's been starting poorly and feels like it has reduced engine power. I scanned it and it's showing an error related to the camshaft sensor. I've checked the sensor connection, and it looks like the cable or plug might be defective. Anyone else experienced this?

Yeah, the error code directly mentioned the camshaft sensor. Did you also notice it happening intermittently at first? And did you end up replacing the sensor itself, or was it something else?

It was pretty intermittent at first, then got worse. I tried a few things, but honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They were able to diagnose and fix it properly. Saved me a lot of headache!

Thanks for the advice! I suspected it might be more than just a simple fix. I took it to the workshop, and you were right, it was a defective cable/plug connection to the camshaft sensor. Repair ended up costing 95€. Appreciate your help!
