Thanks for the tip! I'll check the air filter. Did changing your air filter fix the issue completely, or did you have to do something else with the MAF sensor? I am not sure if the filter is the root cause.

For me, changing the air filter didn't completely solve it. The symptoms lessened a bit, but the problem persisted. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was indeed the MAF sensor. Cost me around 365€ to get it replaced. So, while checking the filter is a good start, you might still have a faulty sensor.

Hey! I drive a Lexus NX too. I had similar symptoms a while back: engine stalling and the check engine light kept popping up. Have you checked your air filter recently? A dirty filter can sometimes mess with the MAF sensor and cause performance decline.
