Thanks, I haven't gotten the fault code yet. I was hoping to get some ideas before a workshop visit. Did your Opel Insignia end up being a manifold pressure sensor?

Yes, after diagnostics, the workshop said it was a faulty manifold pressure sensor due to a large vacuum leakage. I'd suggest getting yours checked professionally. It cost me around 200€ including labor. A faulty sensor can really mess with the engine's air-fuel mixture.

Thanks for sharing. Based on your advice, I took my Lexus to a workshop. It was a faulty manifold pressure sensor and a vacuum leak, just like you said. The repair cost 235€, but the car is running smoothly again. I appreciate it!

That sounds familiar. I had almost the exact same symptoms with my 2017 Opel Insignia a while back. Check engine light, sluggish performance, and the fuel economy went down the drain. I initially suspected the oxygen sensor, but what fault code are you getting?
