Lexus NX Manifold Pressure Sensor Issue

I'm having trouble with my 2022 Lexus NX gasoline. The check engine light is on, and I've noticed less power, diminished engine response, and more fuel consumption. The car has about 180871 kilometers on it. I'm suspecting a faulty manifold pressure sensor, maybe from a vacuum leak. Anyone else seen this?

That sounds familiar. I had almost the exact same symptoms with my 2017 Opel Insignia a while back. Check engine light, sluggish performance, and the fuel economy went down the drain. I initially suspected the oxygen sensor, but what fault code are you getting?

Thanks, I haven't gotten the fault code yet. I was hoping to get some ideas before a workshop visit. Did your Opel Insignia end up being a manifold pressure sensor?

Yes, after diagnostics, the workshop said it was a faulty manifold pressure sensor due to a large vacuum leakage. I'd suggest getting yours checked professionally. It cost me around 200€ including labor. A faulty sensor can really mess with the engine's air-fuel mixture.

Thanks for sharing. Based on your advice, I took my Lexus to a workshop. It was a faulty manifold pressure sensor and a vacuum leak, just like you said. The repair cost 235€, but the car is running smoothly again. I appreciate it!
