Lexus RX Turn Signal Error

Hi, I have a 2005 Lexus RX with a gasoline engine. I'm getting an error related to a defective turn signal lamp. The error is stored, and I also see an error message on the speedometer. It seems to be an electrical fault in the lighting. Any ideas?

I had something similar on my RX, though I didn't get a speedometer error. First, have you checked the flasher relay and all the indicator light bulbs? Sometimes a bad bulb can cause weird electrical issues. Also, did the error appear after any specific event, like a car wash or heavy rain?

Thanks for the suggestion. I did check the bulbs; they seem fine. I haven't checked the flasher relay yet, I'm not even sure where to find it. And no, the error just popped up randomly. Where is the flasher relay located?

Okay, if the bulbs are good, it does sound like the relay or a wiring issue. Honestly, tracking down electrical gremlins can be a real pain. I ended up just taking mine to a workshop when my blinker went haywire. Turned out to be a corroded connection. Cost around 95€ to fix, if that helps.
