Lexus SC Keyless Entry Fault

My 2008 Lexus SC with a gasoline engine has a strange fault at 29025 km. An error is stored related to the bumper antenna. Unlocking and locking no longer function correctly, and the engine can't be started without the key in the ignition. Root cause analysis points to a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced such issues? It seems a new antenna mount is needed. Thoughts?

Right, of course! Well, honestly, after checking fuses and connections myself (and failing miserably, I might add!), I took it to a workshop. They diagnosed a faulty connection to the antenna amplifier. They replaced the connection, and it solved all the issues you described: keyless entry, starting problems.
