Lexus UX Electric power loss

I've got a 2023 Lexus UX Electric with about 179,749 km on it. Recently, I've noticed a significant reduction in engine power and the check engine light keeps popping on. Seems like a throttle valve issue maybe? I had something similar happen with my old Honda Civic once, turned out to be a faulty pedal sensor. Could that be the case here as well?

Given the symptoms you describe, a defective throttle valve is plausible. However, the issue could stem from the accelerator pedal module or even the electronics within. Has there been any noticeable impact on your fuel efficiency, or any delay in throttle response?

I have noticed a slight delay in response actually. Is there any way I can be sure it's the accelerator pedal module without taking it to a mechanic? I recall something about the so-called 'Limp Mode'. Is there a way to trigger that on purpose?

I understand your concerns. However, I would strongly advise against attempting to deliberately trigger 'Limp Mode.' Given your description and mileage, the accelerator pedal module issue seems probable, but a thorough diagnostic check is essential. I recommend consulting a trusted workshop to confirm the issue and prevent further complications.

I took it to the shop and, as you suspected, it was the accelerator pedal module. Repair cost me about 265€. Appreciate the advice!
