LFA emergency call malfunction

My 2012 Lexus LFA, gasoline engine, has an emergency call malfunction. Getting an error in the memory, plus a warning light and message in the speedometer. Suspect a defective cable or plug. Anyone seen this before?

Lexus LFA eh? Lucky you! I have an LFA too, and something similar happened to me some time ago. Was it showing any specific diagnostic codes related to the telematics system? Maybe something starting with B or U?

Codes? Yes, there's one. I think it was B1278, but I didn't write it down. Does that sound familiar?

B1278... Yep, that rings a bell! I remember being pretty frustrated. Honestly, I messed around with it for a bit, but ultimately I just took it to the workshop. Saved myself a headache.
