LFA massage seat failure

LFA fanatics, I've got a 2012 Lexus LFA, gasoline engine, at 101573 km. The massage function on the driver's seat decided to take a permanent vacation. I can't switch it on. The diagnostic tool shows an error related to the seat. I suspect a dodgy cable or a loose plug connection. Has anyone else run into this?

I had something similar happen in my LFA. Was it completely dead or intermittent before it failed?

It was completely dead, no signs of life. No weird noises, no flickering lights, just nothing. Did yours die suddenly like that too? Do you remember what the fix was?

Yep, mine went completely kaput just like that. I poked around a little but honestly, with these cars, I just take it straight to the workshop. They sorted it quickly enough. Best not to risk making things worse yourself. I'd advise getting it checked out before attempting to resolve it yourself.

Okay, that's the nudge I needed. Workshop it is! It was a faulty connector, just like I suspected. 95€ later and the seat's vibrating away happily again.
