When you encountered this issue, were the symptoms identical – the check engine light, the error memory, and the increased fuel consumption? Was the cable or plug connection the culprit, or was it the sensor itself?

Yep, same symptoms. I didn't mess with it myself, though. Took it straight to the workshop, and they confirmed it was the O2 sensor connection. Best to get it checked properly. It cost me 95€ including sensor replacement.

Sounds like you're having O2 sensor troubles. I had a similar thing happen on mine (LFA). Check engine light, guzzling fuel like crazy. Could be a dodgy connection, yeah.
