LFA Poor Starting and Fuel Consumption

Emissions seem normal, but the performance definitely dips around 4000 RPM. Could a defective injection nozzle really be the culprit?

A defective nozzle is possible, especially with those symptoms. Given the LFA's performance characteristics, precise fuel delivery is critical. I'd advise a diagnostic check by a qualified workshop to confirm the issue before proceeding, since the repair cost might be pretty high.

Thanks for the insight. Took it to a workshop and it was indeed the injection nozzle. Cost me 515€ to repair, but the car runs like new now.

I also have an LFA. The symptoms you describe sound familiar. Have you checked for any unusual emissions or noticed any changes in engine performance under load?
