Summary of the thread
A 2018 Fiat Linea owner is experiencing engine temperature issues, with the check engine light on and the engine taking a long time to warm up. Good shout on the fuses! I'll double-check them. But with your Volvo, was the 'restricted cooling grille' the actual culprit, or was it something else causing the fuse to blow repeatedly? Just trying to narrow things down before I dive too deep.

In my case, it turned out to be a faulty sensor causing the cooling fan to run constantly and eventually blowing the fuse. I'd recommend a visit to a workshop if the problem persists after checking the fuses. They have the diagnostic tools to pinpoint the exact cause.

It WAS a fuse! Cost me a whopping 52€ at the shop. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction; you saved me a ton of diagnostic time. Really appreciate the advice!

I had similar issues with my Volvo a while back, although it's a completely different make and model. Same symptoms though: engine temp issues, check engine light. Did you check the fuse box for any blown fuses related to the radiator grille or thermal management system?
