Hey, thanks for the tip. Do you happen to remember how much all that fun cost you? Has anything else come up since then or is everything running smoothly with your BMW now?

Hey, yes, of course I remember! So, to repair the windshield heating element, I had to fork out €585. It definitely wasn't a bargain, but since then the windshield heater has been running completely as before. Of course, you have to be more careful afterwards, but since the visit to the workshop there have been no further problems.

Wow, that's not cheap, but what choice do I have? I'll make an appointment with Car Glass. Thanks again for your help and have a good trip with your BMW!

there are huge issues on these adapters, waiting 20 min for scanner to connect to some modules to pull up the coding options and didn't display any results. and upon diagnostics scans., after finding the faults keep waiting other 10 to 15 minutes and still didn't delete any faults. the obd acanner is very slow and not doing much work

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2015 BMW 5 Series. The windshield heating broke down in my car too. I had to have a completely new windshield installed at my last garage. It was quite an extensive job and took some time. If you have problems with the windshield, I would always go to Car Glass. All the best with your BMW.
