Hey, thanks for the info! Stupid that it wasn't a small problem with your Skoda Superb. But it's good that it's solved now. Do you remember what you had to pay for it? And were there any problems afterwards or was that it?

Hey, you're welcome! I actually had the malfunction of the solar sensor inside the car fixed after I took the car to the mechanic. The plug was defective and had to be replaced, so the whole thing cost me €222. But since then everything has been running like clockwork, no more problems. It was worth it, believe me!

Thanks for the pricing info and nice to hear that everything has been going well since then. So now I know roughly what to expect. I'll try another garage like you suggested. Hopefully everything will run smoothly again. Thanks again for your help!

Hi mate. Know exactly what you're going through, had almost the same problem with my 2014 Skoda Superb. Bad news first - it was actually a serious problem. My suspicion at the time was the evaporator, and unfortunately I was right. They had to replace it on the last visit to the garage. It was a bit of a hassle as the whole unit had to be dismantled to get to the evaporator. Of course, needless to say, that affected the fluid level in the air conditioning system and that had to be topped up too. Best to go to another garage if you weren't happy with the last one. Luckily it's solved now but it was a real headache. Hope that helps you. Good luck!
