Lova Check Engine Light and Stalling

Hi, I have a 2015 Chevrolet Lova with a gasoline engine, and recently the check engine light came on. The car also stalls sometimes when idling. It has 137755 km. Could this be related to the emission system? I already checked the gas cap, what else could it be?

I had a similar problem with my Lova. Did you check the tank ventilation valve? It might be a purge valve issue or something with the EVAP system. Are you losing fuel?

Interesting, I haven't checked that specifically. Where is that valve located, and is it easy to get to? Also, I don't think I'm losing fuel. Could clogged hoses cause the valve to malfunction?

Yes, clogged hoses are a likely cause. I had the same problem. I recommend taking it to a workshop. It's a bit tricky to get to without the right tools. A mechanic will know exactly what to do.

Thanks! I took it to a mechanic, and you were right – it was the tank ventilation valve! They said the hoses were clogged. Repair cost was 175€. Problem solved!
