Thanks for sharing your experience! Mine is a Macan S, and yeah, all other seat functions work fine, just the massage feature is completely dead. My last service was about 3 months ago at 82262 km, and everything was working perfectly then. It just stopped working out of the blue last week. Might take it to the dealership to check if it's something similar to your cable issue. The loose connection seems like a logical explanation since everything else is working properly.

Hey again! Yeah, that sounds exactly like what happened with my Cayenne. Since all your other seat functions are working, I'm even more convinced it's probably the same loose connection issue I had. Especially since it stopped suddenly like that. Just a heads up though, when I took mine to the dealer initially, they wanted to replace the whole control module (would've cost around €600!). That's why I went to my trusted workshop instead, and they found the simple cable issue. So maybe try a good independent Porsche specialist first? Quick tip: before you take it in, try pushing your seat all the way back and listen for any unusual clicking sounds. In my case, I could actually hear a slight rattle when moving the seat, which turned out to be that loose connection. Let me know how it goes! These German cars are amazing but sometimes they just need a simple fix. Keep us posted on what you find out.

Thanks so much for the detailed advice! I just tried moving the seat back and forth, and you know what? I actually heard that rattle you mentioned! That's super helpful info about the dealer trying to replace the whole module on yours, definitely going to try my local Porsche specialist first. They've done great work on my car before and usually find these simpler solutions. I've actually got an appointment with them next Tuesday, so I'll definitely update you on what they find. Really hoping it's just that loose connection like yours, €95 sounds way better than €600! Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It's always good to get advice from someone who's dealt with the same issue!

Hey there! I have some experience with car maintenance and had a similar issue with my 2013 Cayenne Diesel. The massage seat stopped working completely too. Took it to my regular workshop and it turned out to be a loose cable connection under the seat. The plug had come partially disconnected due to seat movement over time. Total repair was €95, and they sorted it out in about an hour. Which trim level is your Macan? Also, does the seat adjustment still work normally? This info would help determine if it's the same issue I had.
