Scorching on the intake manifold, eh? Interesting. Where exactly should I be looking? Any specific areas prone to leaking that you noticed?

Yeah, mine was leaking where the manifold meets the head, near cylinder 3. Get it checked out properly, but if it's the manifold, you're probably looking at some work. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop

Thanks for the tip. I took it to the shop, and you nailed it – the intake manifold was defective due to scorching. Ended up costing me 1180€ to replace, but it's running like new again. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I had almost the exact same symptoms on my Marea. Check your intake manifold for scorching; it's a common weak point and can cause those issues.
