Maxima parking assist malfunction

Hey, I've got a 2012 Nissan Maxima with a gasoline engine and about 55k km on it. Recently, my parking assist stopped working. The system says it's faulty, and I keep getting an error message. Anyone else had this issue? I've checked the rearview camera, and that seems fine. Could it still be the proximity sensors?

The error message suggests a fault in the parking aid system, likely related to the proximity sensors or associated wiring. Has the vehicle been inspected for any physical damage near the sensors or wiring harnesses? Could there be corrosion?

I haven't seen any visible damage, but where exactly should I be looking for the wiring harnesses? I'm not super familiar with the undercarriage.

Given the lack of visible damage, it's advisable to have the system diagnosed with professional diagnostic tools. The error code points to a potential defect in the cable or plug connection. The investment will likely be worth the peace of mind. Estimated repair costs should be in the neighborhood of 95€.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were right – it was a faulty connection in the wiring. They fixed it, and the parking assist is working perfectly now. The cost was almost exactly what you predicted. Appreciate the help!
