Hi there! Sounds like a bit of an adventure with the Mazda! Your fix with the cables got my curiosity piqued. Just wondering, do you recall how much you had to cough up for those cable replacements? And has any similar issue or other problems popped up with your car since then? Cheers!

Hey! Ah, the good old question about the wallet hit! It cost me about 155.00 € to sort out that dodgy Cable connection. Since then, no similar incidents to report, touch wood. As for the freezing spray nozzles, a visit to the mechanic afterward has put that issue to bed - turned out it was a heater malfunction after all. So far, all good in the hood. Hope this helps you navigate this little problem with your Mazda! Cheers!

Many thanks for your replies! That gives me some comfort knowing it didn't burn a hole in your pockets. I'm a bit relieved it might not be something major. I’ll have the cable connections checked out and ask my mechanic to look at the heater too. Thank you guys for the guidance and the helpful suggestions. Hopefully, we will see the end of freezing spray nozzles soon! Cheers!

Hey, had a similar ordeal with my 2005 Mazda6 Sedan. Started out with my spray nozzles egg freezing too. Suspected it was my heater, but it turned out to be a "Cable connection defective" issue. It bugged me a bit, but it wasn't the end of the world. My mechanic just replaced a few defective cables to get things up and running again. Was back on the road in no time, no long-term issue since then. Hope this helps!
