Megane Battery Drain

Hey, I've got a 2001 Renault Megane diesel that's acting up. The battery drains super fast, like something's always pulling power. I'm getting a speedometer error, the lights are weak and flicker, and the error memory shows something's wrong. Starting is tough, the battery feels really weak. Mileage is at 145125 km. Anyone seen this before?

I had something similar in my Megane. Electrical gremlins like that are a pain, but have you looked at the battery sensor? That fixed it for me.

The battery sensor, huh? Is that easy to get to and test? What exactly were your symptoms? I want to be sure before I start tearing things apart.

My symptoms were exactly the same as yours. I'd suggest a workshop to check the error codes and replace the sensor. It cost me around 315€ to diagnose and fix.
