Megane Defrost Air Distribution Fault

My 2023 Renault Megane hybrid has a defrost air distribution flap issue at 123017 km. The error memory records the fault, and the heating output is suboptimal. Diagnostics suggest a potential defect in the cable or plug connection. Has anyone encountered a similar issue with their ventilation system or air distribution?

Megane owner here! Sounds familiar. I had almost the same thing happen with my ventilation system. The air was just not blowing where it should, and the heat was weak. You checked the dashboard panel fuse box, right? Sometimes it's just a simple blown fuse causing havoc with the climate control.

To clarify, did your symptoms also manifest as a stored error code, and was the eventual diagnosis traced to a compromised cable or plug connection within the air distribution system?

Yeah, there was definitely an error code being thrown. I didn't dig too deep myself, just took it to a shop, but they mentioned something about the air distribution and connections. Honestly, for the sake of not butchering the dashboard panel trying to get to it, you might consider doing the same.

The issue was indeed traced to a defective cable connection, as suspected. A visit to the workshop and an expenditure of 95€ rectified the malfunction. Thanks again for your assistance.
