Yes, it does point to an auxiliary battery problem. Besides the warning light and sluggish starts, the car's electronics seem a bit glitchy in general. Was it a straightforward battery replacement for you, or was there more to it?

For me, replacing the auxiliary battery resolved the issue completely. However, I suggest you visit a repair shop to diagnose the root cause. If the battery isn't charging, simply replacing it won't help in the long run.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a mechanic, and you were right – the auxiliary battery was the culprit. Replaced it for 290€, and everything seems back to normal. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Megane. Is the error message specifically related to auxiliary power? For me, it turned out to be a low voltage issue with the auxiliary battery itself. Are you experiencing any other electrical malfunctions besides the error message and weak start?
