Megane hybrid power loss after chip tuning
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Megane hybrid experienced a significant drop in engine power following chip tuning, with a fault code detected by an auto scanner. The issue was suspected to be related to the chip tuning, potentially affecting the ECU. The problem was resolved by having the ECU re-flashed at a workshop, confirming the tuning as the cause.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm not very technical and didn't write the fault code down. Is there any way to further pinpoint the error without the exact fault code?

Based on your description, it does sound suspiciously like the issue I faced. Given that you had chip tuning performed, and the symptoms align with potential ECU problems, I would strongly advise having it inspected by a qualified workshop.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions and the advice. I took it to the workshop, and it turns out that the chip tuning was indeed the culprit. They re-flashed the ECU, and it cost me 180€ Appreciate the help!

I own a Renault Megane as well. I seem to recall encountering a similar problem. Could you clarify which fault code your scan tool is reporting?
