Megane oil level sensor fault

Hi, I've got a 2021 Renault Megane hybrid with about 221k km on the clock and I'm getting a weird error. The speedometer shows an oil level sensor fault, which is also stored in the error memory. On top of that, the oil pressure warning lamp occasionally lights up. Anyone else had this? I've checked the oil level manually and it seems fine.

Hey, I had something similar with my Megane! Not sure about the hybrid part, but the oil level sensor was playing up. Exact same symptoms: error message, warning light... Drove me nuts. Did you check the sensor's connection?

Thanks for the reply! Where exactly is the sensor located? I'm guessing it's somewhere near the oil pan, but I'm not entirely sure where to look for the connector.

Yeah, it's a pain to get to. If I remember correctly, it's on the lower part of the engine, near the oil pan, like you said. Honestly, I tried fiddling with it myself, but I ended up taking it to a workshop. They said it was a defective plug. Saved myself a headache!

Appreciate the advice! I think I'll do the same and book it in. Local shop diagnosed a defective cable and quoted me 95€ to sort it. Hopefully that's all it is!
