Megane tire pressure sensor fault

I've got a 2023 Renault Megane electric with about 229609 km on the clock. Recently, I've been getting a tire pressure too low warning on the dash, accompanied by the tire pressure warning light. I checked the tire pressures manually, and they're all spot on. Hooked it up to my OBD reader, and it's throwing a tire pressure sensor fault. My gut says it's probably just a dead sensor battery, but anyone else seen this?

I encountered a similar problem on my 2018 Volvo XC60. The symptoms you described align with my experience. To be certain, did you inspect the sensors for any physical damage?

Thanks for the reply! No visible damage on the sensors themselves. I was wondering if you also got a specific error code stored, or if it was just a general low-pressure warning?

Affirmative, a specific error code was indeed stored in the system's error memory, indicating a faulty sensor. Given your thoroughness and the absence of physical damage, I recommend consulting a qualified workshop for sensor diagnostics and potential replacement.

Thanks, that confirms my suspicions. Took it to the shop, and as suspected, it was a dead sensor battery. New sensor fitted, coded, and all is well. Cost me about 280€ all in.
