Megane Washer Fluid Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Renault Megane owner is experiencing a persistent 'Washer fluid low' warning on the dashboard despite the reservoir being full, and the windshield washer system is non-functional. The issue may be due to a faulty washer fluid level sensor or a related system fault. A similar case was resolved by having a workshop diagnose and fix the sensor issue, suggesting that professional inspection and repair might be necessary.

So, what was the solution in your case? Did you manage to fix it yourself, or did you have to take it to a shop? And what kind of fluid are you using?

Nah, I'm not really mechanically inclined, so I took it straight to the workshop. They ran some diagnostics and found a fault in the system. I would recommend you to do the same. From what I remember they fixed the fluid level sensor and refilled the tank with the appropriate fluid and the problem went away.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I think I'll head to the workshop as well. It's probably best to get it checked by a professional. Your input gave me the confidence that it is not a huge issue. They found the issue and fixed it for 25€.

I had something similar happen with my Megane (don't remember the year). The 'low fluid' light was on constantly, even with a full reservoir, and the washers just wouldn't spray. Drove me nuts! I remember thinking it was the end of the world. Did you try different type of fluid?
