Mercedes A Klasse Air Suspension Issue

My 2021 Mercedes A Klasse gasoline engine has air suspension problems It won't lift, leans noticeably, shows an error, and the low beams are misaligned I suspect a cable or plug connection issue Has anyone else seen this

That sounds familiar My Mercedes C Klasse had similar symptoms not long ago The leaning, error message, and headlight alignment are classic signs of air suspension trouble Before replacing parts, check the air lines for leaks Even small ones can cause problems Also, make sure the compressor is getting the right voltage and amperage A bad electrical connection can seem like a compressor problem Have you checked the ride height sensors

Thanks for the quick and helpful reply Could you tell me more about checking the ride height sensors What tools or steps do you suggest to test them

For the ride height sensors, run a diagnostic scan to see their readings Differences from the standard, usually in millimeters, can mean a bad sensor Also, visually check the sensor arms and linkages Look for corrosion or damage that could stop them from working You can use a multimeter to check the sensor's voltage output, but understanding the data often needs the car's wiring diagrams Because it can be tricky, I'd suggest a technician to avoid hurting the suspension If it's faulty wiring and connections like you think, the repair might cost around 95€.

I appreciate the thorough help I'm taking the car to a good workshop They confirmed bad wiring and connections and will fix it Thanks again for the valuable advice
