I checked the fuse it's fine I haven't tested the voltage at the blower motor connector or inspected the fan speed controller yet Where is the fan speed controller located on this model, and what voltage should I be seeing at the blower motor connector when the air conditioning is on

Given the symptoms and diagnostic information you provided, I am still leaning towards a defective blower motor The fan speed controller on your A Klasse is typically located near the blower motor assembly, often behind the glove box or under the dashboard on the passenger side As for voltage, you should see approximately 12V at the blower motor connector when the system is active and the cabin fan is set to maximum speed Proceed with caution when testing electrical components If you're not comfortable with electrical testing, it's advisable to consult a qualified technician

A non-functional cabin fan in your Mercedes A Klasse is indeed a common issue The error code strongly suggests the blower motor, but it's wise to consider other possibilities Think of your car's electrical system as a network of pipes Before replacing the blower motor, verify the fuse is intact and the wiring harness connecting to the blower motor is receiving power A faulty fan speed controller can also mimic a dead blower motor, restricting voltage to the motor Have you inspected the controller or tested the voltage at the blower motor connector
