Mercedes A Klasse check engine light and power loss

My 2016 Mercedes A Klasse gasoline engine has a problem The check engine light is on, engine power is reduced, engine response is diminished, and fuel consumption is increased Preliminary diagnostics suggest a manifold pressure sensor fault, possibly from a vacuum leak Any advice

Oh man, that sounds familiar I had almost the exact same thing happen with my A Klasse Check engine light was on, car felt sluggish Is it throwing any specific codes

Thank you for your response I am curious, did your issue also manifest with higher fuel consumption And do you recall what the diagnostic codes indicated, if any were present

Yeah, definitely higher fuel consumption I was filling up way more often Honestly, I didn't mess with the codes myself Just took it straight to the shop They said it was a faulty MAP sensor and replaced it Problem solved

I appreciate you sharing your experience Based on your feedback, I have proceeded with a sensor replacement, which cost 235€ The issue appears to be resolved Once again, thank you for your assistance
