Thanks for the quick reply When you say wiring harness near the steering wheel, are we talking inside the steering wheel itself, or further down the column And when you mention fuses, do you know which ones relate to the cruise control The fuse box diagram is a bit vague Is there a specific cable I should look for

I mean the wiring harness that runs down the steering column, under the cowling You'll need to remove the plastic covers to get a good look As for the fuses, check the ones related to the car electronics and engine management system A blown fuse there could disable the cruise control as a safety measure If you're not comfortable poking around with a multimeter, I would advise getting it to a workshop Save yourself potential headaches

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction I checked the wiring harness, and I couldn't find any obvious breaks or damage I brought it to a workshop It was a faulty connection in the wiring harness They charged me 95€ to fix it Cruise control is working perfectly now I appreciate the help

I had a similar issue with my A Klasse Cruise control failure and an error message Before you tear into the throttle body, check the wiring harness near the steering wheel These cars are known for chafing wires there A short can throw off the cruise control system It's often a CAN bus issue Have you checked the relevant fuses
