I have the same model. Sounds like you're having the same issues I did. Check engine light, right? Could be a bad connection somewhere. Start with the basics. Have you checked the battery voltage? A low battery can cause all sorts of weird electrical problems on these cars. When a control unit 'shuts down', does it happen while driving or when you start the car?

Thank you for your prompt response. Regarding your question, the control unit shutdowns can occur both while driving and upon starting the vehicle. I have not yet tested the battery voltage, but I will certainly add that to my list of checks. Could you elaborate on what you mean by 'bad connection'? Are we talking about a specific connector or wiring harness that is known to be problematic?

Yeah, same thing happened to me. Battery voltage seemed fine, but the problems persisted. By 'bad connection', I mean it's likely a loose or corroded connector on one of the modules. However, finding it is difficult. I suggest going to a workshop and having them check the connections to the CAN bus. They should have the proper diagnostic tools to pinpoint the issue. Cost me around 155€ to get it sorted.

Thank you very much for the advice and confirmation that you experienced a similar situation. Based on your recommendation, I took the car to a workshop for a thorough inspection of the cable connections. Indeed, a defective cable connection to the BUS system of the control unit was identified as the source of the problem, and it has since been rectified. I appreciate you sharing your experience!
