Good shout! Where exactly is this GPS antenna located? And by connections, do you mean the ones at the antenna itself or near the GPS module?

It's usually on the roof, near the back. And yes, I mean both ends of the cable. Honestly, though, if it's showing a fault code and you've got no GPS reception, it's probably a defective GPS antenna. Is it worth the hassle of checking everything? Maybe just bite the bullet and get a new antenna installed at a workshop.

Thanks a million! I had the antenna replaced, and the nav system is now working perfectly. The error code is gone too. 200€ well spent! Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my A Klasse's GPS signal. Have you checked the connections to the car GPS antenna itself? Sometimes it's just a loose wire.
