Interesting I hadn't thought about the fuse, to be honest I will give it a try, it's worth a shot But if it is the flap actuator, how difficult was the replacement I am not sure I can do it myself, but I would like to try before I take it to the workshop Did you have to remove a lot of trim to get to it, or is it fairly accessible

While replacing the fuse might offer temporary relief, be wary of it blowing again, signaling a deeper problem As for the flap actuator replacement, my recommendation would be to consult a certified Mercedes-Benz workshop The rear ventilation system is integrated, and attempting a repair without the proper tools or expertise could potentially damage other components

Thanks for the advice I checked the fuse, and it was fine I finally gave in and took it to the workshop You were right; it was a defective cable connection They charged me 95€ to fix it I am happy to have the air conditioning working properly again, especially for the rear passengers

I also own a Mercedes A Klasse, although I do not own a hybrid I encountered a similar issue with my car's automatic climate some time ago The symptoms you described were indeed consistent with a fault in the rear ventilation flap system Did you perhaps check the relevant fuse In my case, the fuse was blown, and replacing it temporarily resolved the problem However, the underlying issue persisted, and the flap actuator eventually needed replacement
