Mercedes B Klasse electric air suspension problem
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Mercedes B Klasse electric vehicle experienced air suspension failure at 265,322 km, causing uneven ride height and error messages. The issue was suspected to be related to the air suspension compressor, possibly due to a defective cable or plug connection. After checking the cable connections, a loose connector was found and cleaned, resolving the problem and eliminating the error messages.

So, just to be clear, the error message also pointed towards the compressor itself in your case? Was it a permanent failure, or only sometimes?

Affirmative, the error indicated a compressor fault, and the failure was intermittent at first, eventually becoming permanent. It might be worth investigating before replacing the compressor. In my case, the repair shop was able to repair the cable for a reasonable price.

Thanks for the insight. I checked the cable connections and found a loose connector. Cleaned it up, reconnected it, and the suspension is working again. Error is gone. Cost me just 95€ for the cleaning agent. Much appreciated!

Interesting issue. Did you perhaps check the voltage at the compressor? I had a similar problem with my Audi A6. The air suspension would fail intermittently. It turned out to be a corroded wire leading to the compressor. The error was also pointing towards the compressor itself, but the actual problem was a simple electrical fault in the suspension system.
