Mercedes B Klasse Power Steering Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Mercedes B Klasse Diesel exhibited a power steering malfunction, with symptoms including a vibrating steering wheel, spongy handling, and an error code. The initial suspicion was a defective cable or plug, as fluid levels were normal. After checking for contamination and bubbles in the fluid, a workshop diagnosed a defective plug connection as the issue. Repairing the connection resolved the problem, restoring normal steering function.

Thanks I checked the fluid and saw no contamination or bubbles The steering effort feels consistently high Did you see the same?

Yes, that's what I experienced The fluid looked fine, but the shop found a bad connection I suggest taking it to a workshop for a proper diagnosis to prevent more issues

I had a similar issue in my B Klasse Have you checked the power steering fluid for contamination or air bubbles? Is the steering effort always high, or does it change?
