Mercedes C Klasse airbag warning light issue

I had a similar problem with my C Klasse a while back The SRS light kept coming on It was a faulty connection in one of the airbag sensors Have you checked the plugs under the seats They sometimes get loose

Loose plugs Where are these airbag sensors located How can I check these connections I'm not really a car guy

The sensors are usually buried in the seats or behind the dash, but the plugs connecting them are under the seats Just have a look, maybe wiggle them a little But honestly, with airbags, I wouldn't mess around too much If it's still on, it's probably best to get it to a workshop It could be a defective cable

I wiggled the plugs a bit and the light was still on, so I took it to a shop They found a defective plug connection and fixed it for 95€ They said it was a common problem Thanks for the advice
