Thanks for the advice! I did check the battery terminals, they seem clean and tight. I haven't had the battery charging system tested yet. Is that something I can do myself, or do I need special equipment?

It is advisable to have a professional perform the diagnostic test. In my case, the root cause was indeed a faulty battery sensor, which resulted in a constant battery drain. The repair cost was approximately 315€. I would recommend visiting a workshop.

Thanks I went to a workshop, and they identified the battery sensor as the problem, just like you said. Replaced it, and the low battery issue is gone. The final bill matched your estimate too. Appreciate the help!

I drive a Mercedes C Klasse as well, and I experienced similar symptoms a few months ago. I would recommend checking the battery terminals for corrosion and ensuring they are properly tightened. A loose connection can cause a battery drain. Have you had the battery charging system tested?
