Mercedes Citan Intake Manifold Problem

Has anyone experienced intake manifold issues on a 2017 Mercedes Citan diesel with symptoms like reduced engine power, rough running, jerking acceleration, hissing during acceleration, and increased fuel consumption, especially potentially related to the intake manifold flap control? My car has 194204 km on the clock and I was quoted 465€ for the repair.

That sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms on my Citan. Reduced power and jerking were the big giveaways. Did the engine light come on? For me, it was definitely an intake system issue, impacting airflow control.

Yes, the engine light is on. Was it the intake manifold itself or something else related to the intake system? Trying to narrow it down before I commit to the repair.
