Mercedes CLA AdBlue issue and engine start problem

I have a 2016 Mercedes CLA diesel with 166678 km. I'm getting an error that the AdBlue tank is empty, even after topping it off. The error is in the speedometer and the error memory, and now the engine won't start. I think the AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit is bad. Has anyone seen this? Could this affect the injection system or fuel efficiency? What's the AdBlue tank capacity usually? I'm trying to avoid high repair costs. I saw one estimate of 250€ for a tank replacement.

Yes, the service light is on. Can you tell me more about what happened with yours? Did you have the same symptoms, like the engine not starting? How was it fixed and how much did it cost?

Yep, same symptoms. Wouldn't start, error message, the works. Honestly, I didn't mess with it myself. I took it straight to a workshop. They sorted it out, but I can't remember exactly what they did. Saved me a headache though!
