Parasitic draw What's that How do I even test my battery I'm not really a car guy, you know Is it really that complicated I was hoping it's just the battery

Parasitic draw refers to components draining battery power when the car is off. Testing requires specialized equipment. Given the symptoms and your unfamiliarity with automotive electrics, a workshop visit is advisable. It could be a defective battery, but the underlying cause might be a faulty module or wiring issue.

Undervoltage issues in the CLA can be complex. I've experienced similar symptoms. Begin with a thorough battery health assessment. Check for voltage drop under load. Also, examine the charging system's output and ensure stable battery terminal connections. A parasitic draw test could also point to the source of the voltage drain.
