Thanks for the quick reply. Can you explain how to check the wiper motor relay and what to look for to see if it's working right? Also, would a bad turn signal always cause problems with the turn signals, or could it just affect the wipers?

To check the relay, look for continuity and the right voltage. A multimeter helps. A bad turn signal doesn't always affect the turn signals; sometimes it only affects the wipers. Given the error code and how complex the system is, a technician might be best. The estimated cost of 95€ sounds fair for checking and fixing it.

Thanks for the help. I took it to a technician as you suggested. It was a bad connection in the wiper switch. The repair cost 95€, just like you thought, and fixed the problem. Thanks again for your help.

I had a similar wiper problem on my Opel. Check the wiper motor relay. A bad relay can act like a bad wiper switch. Also, check the turn signal stalk, since the wiper switch is part of it. A problem there could affect both. Is the wiper blade assembly moving okay, or is something blocking it?
