Thanks for the quick reply. The battery seems fine when tested. I don't see any water. Could a bad alarm sensor cause this? Or is there a common thing that breaks that I should know about?

A bad sensor is possible, but not as likely. With the error and the alarm not working, it needs a closer look. Could the optical locking coding be the problem? Maybe, but not likely by itself. Take it to a workshop to get it scanned with a good tool. They can find the exact error code and figure it out from there.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and the error was about the alarm's settings, like you thought, with the optical locking. They tweaked the system, and it cost 45€. It's working now. Thanks again.

That's a strange one. Have you checked the car battery lately? A weak battery can mess with the electrics, including the alarm. Also, any signs of water getting in near the alarm sensor?
