Thank you for your prompt response When you experienced the issue with your BMW, did the problem present itself consistently, or was it intermittent Furthermore, did you observe any specific conditions, such as speed or temperature, that seemed to exacerbate the symptoms

In my case, it was fairly consistent, worsening with speed Given your error code and the vibration, it does sound like an electrical issue or a failing steering pump A workshop visit is probably necessary to diagnose it properly They can check the cable connections and the pump's functionality

I appreciate you sharing your experience and guidance Following your advice, I took the vehicle to a trusted mechanic As suspected, it was indeed a defective connection to the power steering system The repair, which involved cleaning and securing the connection, amounted to 95€ The steering wheel no longer vibrates, and the handling has returned to normal Thank you once again for your assistance

I had similar symptoms on my old BMW 3 Series after hitting a curb The power steering felt inconsistent, and the steering wheel vibrated at certain speeds Have you checked the steering column itself for any visible damage or play Also, a simple wheel alignment might be a good starting point to rule out any mechanical issues before diving into electrical components
