Mercedes E Klasse stuck in transport mode

My 2013 Mercedes E Klasse diesel is stuck in transport mode after delivery with only 96966 km on the clock. Car electronics are acting up, navigation is dead, but the immobilizer seems fine. A diagnostic check shows transport mode active. Any ideas what could cause this?

I had something similar with my E Klasse. Check the battery voltage and connections first. Then, a full diagnostic check using Mercedes diagnostic software is crucial. It sounds like a vehicle setting issue that needs a software fix to clear the transport mode. Did you check all fuses related to the car electronics?

It was definitely a software glitch in my case. I didn't perform the diagnostic check myself. The workshop did a complete diagnostic check and a software fix which fixed it instantly. They mentioned it had something to do with the immobilizer's communication with the central unit during delivery. I would suggest taking it to a shop that knows Mercedes car electronics.
