Mercedes EQV Terminal Continuous Plus Issue

My 2020 Mercedes EQV, all-electric, has been giving me grief. Mileage is sitting at 274197 km. Seems to have a Terminal 30 continuous plus issue that's been interrupted. Vehicle starts poorly. I suspect a heavily discharged or defective battery. Any thoughts on this?

Hmm, interrupted Terminal 30 continuous plus, you say? And a sluggish start on your electric EQV. Sounds like it could be more than just the battery, though a discharged or faulty battery would certainly explain the starting issues. Have you checked for any significant voltage drop anywhere? A bad Wiring Harness or even something corroded in the Fuse Box could cause that. Any signs of Electrical Fault anywhere else? Is it always poor starting, or only sometimes? Have you considered the Ignition Switch?

Voltage drop... where would I even begin to check for that?

Alright, so checking for a voltage drop without the right tools can be tricky. Given the intermittent nature and the 'Terminal 30' reference, it's best to get it properly diagnosed. A workshop can pinpoint the exact source of the drain, and safely check the high voltage components. It's possible the main battery is the issue, but chasing electrical gremlins in an EV without proper diagnostic tools is risky. I'd recommend taking it in.

Thanks for the input. Took it to a certified shop, and you were right, it was more complex than just swapping the battery. Ended up being a faulty connection in the wiring harness leading to excessive drain. Repair cost was 290€, all in.
