Mercedes GLA Diesel Gearbox Problems

My 2015 Mercedes GLA diesel with 124936 km is having gearbox issues. The paddle shifters are unresponsive, the transmission slips, and I hear grinding. The paddles are slow, and it's gone into emergency mode a few times. The codes point to a defective transmission control unit. Has anyone seen this before? The repair will be around 1000€.

That sounds rough! I had similar transmission problems with my Mercedes. Is it showing any electronic issues too? It could be the transmission control module.

Yeah, it sounds like what I went through with my Mercedes. The car was undriveable because it was stuck in gear. I suggest going to the workshop.

I appreciate the confirmation. It sounds like I'm on the right track with the transmission control. I will get the transmission control module replaced, and that should sort it. Thanks for the help.
