Thanks for the quick response The error appeared suddenly with no warning signs I haven't checked the fuses yet The steering wheel isn't locked, just stuck I haven't tried the battery disconnect Did that reset work for you?

Disconnecting the battery didn't help in my case That reset might not address the issue if it's a deeper electronic malfunction Given the sudden failure and that the steering isn't seized, it's likely an electrical fault in the steering column module I'd suggest a workshop diagnostic check to pinpoint the cause and determine if it's a loose connection or something more complex

Thanks for the advice The fuses were fine I took it to the workshop, and it was a loose connection in the steering column module They fixed it, and the electric adjustment is working again The bill was 95€ as estimated A relief it wasn't more serious

That's irritating when convenience features fail I had a similar steering failure with my GLA The electric adjustment became unresponsive with an error message Did the error appear gradually or suddenly? Have you checked the fuses? A blown fuse could be the culprit before deeper electrical issues Is the steering wheel locked or difficult to manoeuvre? Have you tried resetting the system by disconnecting the battery?
