Mercedes GLA Vehicle Software Glitch

I'm experiencing some weirdness with my 2013 Mercedes GLA, gasoline engine. The car has about 141080 km on it. It seems to be having a Vehicle software glitch. I keep getting errors popping up, and the onboard diagnostics isn't helping much. Electrical stuff seems off, and my navigation is completely dead. The workshop guys are saying it's likely a control unit programming issue. They are talking about a software bug. Quoted me around 240€ for a possible fix. Has anyone else run into something similar?

Sounds familiar! I had something like that with my GLA. Basically, the whole system went haywire. It's like your car's brain got scrambled eggs for breakfast. Did they mention anything about a software revision for the control unit?

They mentioned 'implausible programming' of the control unit, so it could be. Is that the same as a software revision? Did it fix all the weird electrical problems you had?

Yeah, that's probably it. The 'implausible programming' is code for 'Vehicle software is messed up'. A software revision should sort it out. But honestly, it's best to let the workshop handle it. Messing with the control unit yourself can brick the whole thing. I had them do mine and it sorted out all the issues.

Thanks for the input. I'll get the software revision done at the workshop. Hopefully, that'll take care of it. Appreciate the advice.
